There's an article in The Guardian about a recent advert released by the government (I should point out that other publications have also covered this story). Apparently the advertising regulator have received 350 complaints about the content! Read the full article for details.
Personally, one of my problems with our society's attitude to climate change is that we're not scared enough (especially on behalf of our younger generations)! Sometimes I wonder why there so few people worried and panicking! Then I remind myself how many distractions exist in the modern world. It may be an uncomfortable reality but surely it's better to instill a bit of fear in people in an effort to kick-start some personal action? Of course, there's no use scaring people on the one hand without offering support and solutions with the other. I also think getting people to think about the generations after us is an important thought to plant in people's minds.
